Film photography is such a fun medium to experiment with, A costly venture but a worthwhile one. I started in the world of digital photography, and within the year of 2024 I was able to really expand my horizons with film and have become fully enamored by the look of it.

I’ve recklessly fallen into the world of not only film but cameras as a whole and have come away with various opinions about the two. Some are optimistic and charged with elation, whereas some other outcomes have left me scratching my head at my own incompetence. Such is the condition of being human.

There’s much to learn and I still find myself learning everyday. It’s exciting being in a position where anything is possible and much can be learned from the experience. Perhaps that’s why I find film so enticing. The universe is your oyster and how you choose to display that is how you grow as an artist. Not only a sense of what you feel is compelling but also how you choose to see the world.
