Portra 400 happens to be under the umbrella of favorite speed, so I won’t talk heavy shit about it. I’m pick and choose most of the time. Guillotine this time? Perhaps!

Portra 400 has a very generous acceptance to light and softens colors. Not necessarily dampen but tends to have a higher exposure rate to lighter color tones and deepens the dark ones. Such a fascinating register!

I think that it’s a worthy film to shoot with, if I’m willing to spend a few more bucks, but I still find the world of film so expansive that I won’t stick with just this stock.
