AurARA 800

Aurara 800 is such a special stock of film, if Fuji had an 800-speed film at this day in age, this would be it. Its display is unique because it performs incredibly well in brighter light environments, considering how sensitive it is to light. The overall tone leans more towards a green tint so it’s fascinating how it can give your shots a very particular mood. If you’re going to shoot this film along the upper west coast of the us, you’ll defiNITELY have some twilight vibes!

There is only one folly I’ve noticed from a personal perspective, and that is the register the film has with skin tones. It’s something to take into consideration with the type of shooting that you’ll be doing. Without disparaging you more, I did shoot this film on two different cameras so results will always vary with those factors taken into consideration.

The cameras in question are:

Nikon FE2 - 28mm 1 : 2.8 Pentax IQZoomIZY - f38mm-f70mm
